Yesterday i was paired with a Account Executive from North Carolina. He was there to teach me the ropes of Sales and etc and we had a hour long drive from St. Louis to Germantown, IL to talk about the job and life. I found out that he he's a recent grad of Wake Forest with a degree in Anthropology and that he loves 240sx's (real surprising, we really bonded on about cars and calling people dicks :D )
In a nutshell, i love my new job. I meet people. I get the newly met people to buy or get acquainted with Quill.com, a office supply retailer. I leave that small business hopefully with a sale and or a future customer of Quill.com. Only bad part is that you get paid on commission, but if i make 6-8 sales a week, i get reasonable pay (400-700 paid weekly). Like i said, i need to make sales to get paid.
I'm not worried. :) BYE

Great News!
Today i just went to my "Meeting" interview where i sat down with the president of the marketing firm i'm currently looking to be working with. I pretty much knocked it out of the ballpark and was invited to tomorrow's shadowing interview where i follow some of the clients and other salesmen as they trek to various businesses.
Such a amazing feeling to be so prosperous in a city I've only known for little over 3 weeks. It feels great to have such a high level of confidence for once. I'll be working as a account manager next week most likely, i have the love of my life a phone call away. I wore a nice shirt and slacks again and pranced around downtown as if i was some important young man fresh out of college and into the world of 50k-a-year workplaces.
I can't wait for my first paycheck in several months. I'll be setting aside money for some nice George dress shirts and slacks. Maybe a suit jacket or two. Life is great right now. I'll be back in action taking pictures and making movies in no time guys. Just keep being patient okay?
On a side note. My blog has reached past 1k page views. I don't know who's coming back constantly, but thanks guys. It's a milestone to me in something i didn't really even think would take off the way it did. Keep referring my blog to your friends and i'm sorry i don't update much. It's not that i don't care, just really busy and i don't have my own computer. Bye bye!

HEY
HOW ARE YOU GUISE?
I'm in St.Louis. I've actually been here for maybe a week and a half. All i know is that i've been here since August 23rd and it's been a blast so far. I had a place since day 1 and i plan on making the best out of the amazing shelter/school i'm residing at because i only have maybe 20 something more days and still no job. However i feel that i'm getting close to more greatness in my life so far.
Day 1 i ended up meeting some great St.Louis peoples. My first being a Cabbie who allowed me to ride free to the first shelter which was unreliable. Then the 2nd and 3rd person who made a lasting a impression, Kelly and Rob. They managed to get me into the place i'm in today, Covenant House.
To be honest, it feels like everything is falling into place. I met a Cab driver who allowed me to meet Kelly and Rob, who then got me into Covenant House and now I'm meeting all these great workers inside covenant house who will be able to thrust me into success. Life is just great now but like i said earlier. Time is of the essence and i have 20 days.
Lets get to it. Did i mention i love my lover Aurora? :) Can't wait to be with her and our pretend child baby bear all weekend <3 Love youu
